Caleb {Senior 2017}

I have had the joy of meeting many seniors this summer and have enjoyed each one.  But this senior is extra special to me as he is my son.  When I'm not out meeting with clients, I am a homeschool mom, so I've been a part of his journey to this point since the beginning.  Being a photographer's son comes in handy too as you will see.

We split Caleb's session into three parts starting in a local downtown river front.  This also meant a stop for Bubble Tea after our time, a bonus for this photographer who is in love with the refreshing drinks they serve.  {If you are local to Kent, you must visit Ming's - Strawberry Banana Snow with Strawberry bubbles is my current favorite}.  But back to Caleb ;-)

Next up was quite the adventure.  Caleb has played the piano since he was 7.  It is truly a passion and where he can "be still" when life is getting crazy.  So what is a photographer to do?  She gathers several of his young friends and talks her husband into helping move our piano to a field for sunset pictures.  I think we could have put a tip jar out as we had many stop and enjoy the mini concert he put on while I took pictures.

Finally, we went to one of his favorite places.  This seems odd to most, but we visited the "Volvo Graveyard".  You see his Dad purchased an old Volvo years ago which sparked Caleb's next love - cars and Volvo's.  They worked on that car together {and often hehe} and this place is owned by the Volvo Doctor, as he is called, who often helped them solve the newest issue.  We enjoyed finding various cars to use in the pictures as he told us what they were or interesting details on the car itself.

It is hard to believe I have graduated two of my children so far.  Looking forward to seeing where Caleb's next step is as he figures out his future! God has big plans for you young man!
